Perceptions about Systematic Reviews

"Some believe systematic reviews represent less effort than a primary clinical study. As can be seen by this review, a quality systematic review requires substantial preparation and planning. "Systematic reviews can suffer from a variety of weaknesses during their preparation. A less than thorough literature search may miss important studies, which may affect conclusions."
