2024 International Advanced Manufacturing Conference NSF Student/Early Career Researcher Travel Award Application Form

The US National Science Foundation will provide support to selected students and early-career engineers (e.g., postdocs or recent graduates working in industry or national labs) from the United States to participate in the 2024 International Advanced Manufacturing Conference, a joint conference of the 52nd North American Manufacturing Research Conference (NAMRC 52) and the International Manufacturing Science and Engineering Conference (MSEC 2024), to be held at Knoxville Conventional Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, on June 17-21, 2024.

Before applying, please note that to qualify for the award, you must (no exceptions):
  1. Reside and study/work in the United States,
  2. Attend the conference and participate in the technical sessions and other events, and
  3. Attend the Early Career Forum organized by ASME/MED and NAMRI/SME.

Before you complete this support application form, you and your advisor/supervisor will need to complete and sign the required Signature Form.
  1. Download the file Travel2024 Lastname Firstname 
  2. Complete and sign the Signature Form 
  3. Scan or save the Signature Form as a PDF with a file size of not more than 2 MB. 
  4. Rename to the required PDF filename format: Travel2024_yourlastname_yourfirstname.pdf (for example, Travel2024_John_Smith.pdf) 
  5. Have the signed form ready to upload when completing your application.

All applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM US Pacific Time, Friday, March 15, 2024.
