STUDY:                                               

 

You are invited to participate in a research study conducted by Ariane Yumi Kreidl at the University of Southern California. Please read through this form and ask any questions you might have before deciding whether or not you want to participate.

 

This research study aims to understand the current racial dynamics in the United States.

 

If you agree to take part in this study, you will be asked to answer several multiple choice questions, with some optional short statements regarding your race and personal background. All data collected in this study is ANONYMOUS. You do not have to answer any questions you don’t want to, however, incomplete surveys will not qualify to receive compensation for participating. 

 

You will receive a chance to win $50 gift card (Amazon or Visa). At the end of the survey, you will be asked to share your email information in order to participate. This information is solely provided to enter the drawing and participation CANNOT be linked with any answers provided in the survey. 

 

There will be no identifiable information obtained in connection with the answers provided in this study. At the completion of the study, the anonymous data may be used for future research studies. Any identifiable information obtained in connection with this study will remain confidential. If you do not want your data used in future studies, you should not participate.

 

The members of the research team and the University of Southern California’s Human Subjects Protection Program (HSPP) may access the data. The HSPP reviews and monitors research studies to protect the rights and welfare of research subjects.
